On contemplating issues of abundance many will immediately think of money and how much easier their lives might be if they had more of it. Whilst there may be truth in that this article’s focus is on something more important. Relationships, our abundant relationships. We are constantly relating to every thing and every one around us but mostly unconsciously. By applying a little more conscious awareness to these interactions we can improve our lives immeasurably.
Sometimes it can seem that our lives are one stream of problems, things just never seem to work out quite as we’d like. Cars break down, people let us down, flights are cancelled, payments are delayed, harvests fail, jobs are lost etc.. Any number of eventualities seem to hinder our way and blight our days. “Oh! Why does it have to be so difficult, why me?” Is there any solution?
Success coaches tell us to “Think Big!”, set big goals, if you want millions, think in millions, there’s no need to settle for less. This is the advice from people who have successfully acquired lots of money by thinking big, it has worked for them. High profile teachers such as T Harv Eker, John Assaraf and Robert Allen, to name but three, all dreamt of being millionaires from an early age yet also experienced all manner of ups and downs on the way to eventual success. They had fairly big dreams from the outset and succeeded in spite of every setback but what of us with more modest dreams? Is it more crucial that we think big or that we think true to ourselves? Can or should you force yourself to think big when what really interests you is the smaller stuff?
I recently asked a helpful visitor to this site what they’d like me to write about and the reply was “The Meaning Of Life”. Well, it has been said you should be careful what you ask for…
However the meaning of life is a subject close to my heart and I do have few thoughts to offer in that regard.
One of the challenges when exploring and learning to understand the Law Of Attraction is dealing with truth and denial. Do we ignore our pain in order to feel pain free? Do we deny our debts in order to feel prosperous and so become prosperous? Let me suggest that the point that many are missing is that working with LOA is all about consciously tracking our feelings in relation to our thought processes which very much requires a search for truth rather than denial.
A new year begins and so does the annual round of resolutions that are so frequently neglected as old habits return and the pressures of day to life build once more.
Here are a few tips I’ve learnt through experience that I encourage you to consider very carefully.
Here’s an outlandish statement: You’re already getting what you want!
Oh no I’m not, I hear you say “I didn’t want this or that….” but…
Stating the obvious: ~ Happy people live happy lives ~ What many people fail to notice is that feeling happiness is a choice, a decision, that becomes a habit through repetition in exactly the same way as feeling unhappy is. Abundance is a choice also and the difficulties we experience come as a result of the resistance we have to allowing ourselves the freedom to choose anew.
What would it be like to hang out with Jesus Christ, man to man, consciousness to consciousness, in today’s world, my world more particularly?
A useful way to get greater clarity over where and how you are pinching off a higher experience of abundance in your life is to explore your value preferences and their related successes.
Have you noticed how it is the things that you value most that give you the most satisfaction and enjoyment? Sounds obvious doesn’t it, but have you ever really considered that and how it relates to other aspects of your life?
If you’ve been studying consciousness, belief systems and the power of thoughts to create your reality, for a while, then you’ve probably found that it has not been all ease and plain sailing. Initial successes may have moved through to reveal fresh challenges and apparent setbacks. Periods of great hope, joy and expectation, where you thought all was well and sorted have somehow shifted inexplicably to renewed difficulties with fresh feelings of fear and anxiety. Why? What is the solution? I suggest that the answer to this is primarily previously hidden, subconscious, aspects of the self calling themselves into your consciousness awareness and secondly it is simply the rhythm of life. There is nothing actually wrong, you haven’t goofed, its just life moving on through you in a manner that differs from your prior conscious expectation. Here I offer a personal practice that can really help smooth the way.
What does it mean when we talk about the “benign abundance of the universe” and how does that fit with God?
Its good to feel good. We know that because it feels good to feel good. Here are a dozen abundance thoughts that may help you on your way but may challenge you also.
This is an overview of the creative process that I hope will trigger your curiosity and lead you to further question your personal understanding of manifesting.
An affirmation is a spoken or thought phrase that harmonises your energy field and thus evokes feelings of well being.
So the true key is choosing the right affirmations for you that really evoke feelings of well being and thus “work”.
I’ve been reflecting a lot lately on the ways of life. This being particularly prompted by my life entering a new phase of uncertainty with the completion of a run of yacht projects and no definite answer as to what comes next. This being coupled by many other customer variables beyond my control or apparent influence.
See your life as a work of art, a work of love.
Create your life as a dance of spirit.
Generate self-respect in everything you are , do and say.
Learn to recognise those areas where you do not do that.
Practice replacing judgement with love and space.
Internal peace is an essential first step to achieving peace in the world. How do you cultivate it? It’s very simple. In the first place by realizing clearly that all mankind is one, that human beings in every country are members of one and the same family.
-His Holiness the Dalai Lama
Life is like a mirror. If you frown at it, it frowns back. If you smile at it, it returns the greeting.
Can this really be real
Why do I feel so confused
What lost understanding has
Sailed beneath my gaze
on these troubled waters
Running wild the avalanche crumbled into momentary calm
waiting fretfully for the first sign of permanence….
What if funky, confusing, gray, lonely days were just part of a “system” that, in turn, created bright, rich, happy, friendly days?
Now there’s an important looking phrase – “Optimum Performance Expert”, sounds impressive doesn’t it?
There are many self help “gurus” and “OPE’s” working their stuff here on planet Earth but I am often a little suspicious of defining optimum and then claiming to be an expert on achieving it.
I have been having a full and abundant time lately to such an extent that I have not made time to post anything on this web project of mine. Where have I been?
That is an interesting thread of words, “The heart of the matter” one that I believe holds a very useful clue for those manifesting a consciously designed life.
Have you noticed what happens when you judge something?
Well this little site of mine has been live for a month now and I am called to look a little deeper at what my goals or needs for the site are.
The article below is from my site of the moment WorldChanging: Another World Is Here and to me further illustrates that many solutions are always available to us when faced with a problem. The task is…
Do you feel the warmth of your heart?
Or some gossamer thread of tangible feeling
stirring inconspicuously in some forgotten realm
visible perhaps only to those outside of you?
For those of you with ‘Lord’ and ‘God’ issues this version may be more accessible.
I drove down a winding road yesterday
The sun shone from beneath cauliflower clouds…
– They don’t understand, you see
If they’d just listen
Then they would realise…
