Using A Pendulum To Expand Your "Inner" Awareness

In order to improve our general sense of happiness and well being we need to develop a deeper connection to that part of us that is always happy and well; our inner or higher self as it is often referred as. One very easy, simple, way of doing just this is practising with a pendulum to access our sub-conscious, knowing, senses and gradually make them more conscious. In this post I offer some thoughts and advice as well as 2 short video clips to demonstrate.

Have you noticed how it is the things that you value most that give you the most satisfaction and enjoyment? Sounds obvious doesn’t it, but have you ever really considered that and how it relates to other aspects of your life?
World Gratitude Plan ~ Day One

I had an email today announcing the start of the World Gratitude Plan as orchestrated by Stacey Robyn. It was an interesting few moments as I thought “Shall I, shan’t I sign up”. Part of me thought “here we go another well intentioned idea to “Change The World” that is missing the point” then other inner voices pipe up _“Who are you to say what ‘missing the point’ is?
“What help are you anyway if you keep your ideas and feelings to yourself? Why not engage with the process?” Fair enough, so I signed up, made a donation, and voila, here I am, Day One. This is my ‘point’ about world peace and gratitude.
Dealing With Problems - This too shall pass.

Life is about evolution growth and personal development, we can actively move through it with that idea in mind or we can just allow life to deliver its challenges and surprises as it sees fit. Either way we all encounter “problems”, rich, poor, weak, strong, young or old. Life continually challenges us to learn and become more capable. We label these challenges as problems, they feel uncomfortable and that is our guide.

Lately I have been reading Seth Godin’s blog and was rather taken by his account of Local Max as whilst it is focused upon the business world it also, in my view, exactly reflects the passage of our personal growth and evolution.
