Sometimes it can seem that our lives are one stream of problems, things just never seem to work out quite as we’d like. Cars break down, people let us down, flights are cancelled, payments are delayed, harvests fail, jobs are lost etc.. Any number of eventualities seem to hinder our way and blight our days. “Oh! Why does it have to be so difficult, why me?” Is there any solution?
In a previous article I discussed The Meaning Of Life and rumination on that subject leads well into the related area of life purpose. Sometimes it may seem that we are drifting through life without clear direction and so get to thinking “What am I here for, what is my purpose?”
I recently asked a helpful visitor to this site what they’d like me to write about and the reply was “The Meaning Of Life”. Well, it has been said you should be careful what you ask for…
However the meaning of life is a subject close to my heart and I do have few thoughts to offer in that regard.
One of the challenges when exploring and learning to understand the Law Of Attraction is dealing with truth and denial. Do we ignore our pain in order to feel pain free? Do we deny our debts in order to feel prosperous and so become prosperous? Let me suggest that the point that many are missing is that working with LOA is all about consciously tracking our feelings in relation to our thought processes which very much requires a search for truth rather than denial.
A new year begins and so does the annual round of resolutions that are so frequently neglected as old habits return and the pressures of day to life build once more.
Here are a few tips I’ve learnt through experience that I encourage you to consider very carefully.
Having previously written an article on getting what you want I thought I’d address the tricky topic of actually knowing what you want.
Have you ever felt uncertain or confused about your life purpose or direction and what you want to do? I suspect so, I certainly have, it seems we are raised with the question “What to you want to do/be when you grow up?” and for some they have a clear vision of wanting to be in a certain profession etc. from a young age and go on to fulfil that goal happily. Most of us aren’t that clearly focused or driven.
Here’s an outlandish statement: You’re already getting what you want!
Oh no I’m not, I hear you say “I didn’t want this or that….” but…
I was tidying up the files on my computer today and came across an in depth and unpublished piece I wrote some time back while I was attending The Barbara Brennan School Of Healing. it is still highly relevant and could be very helpful to others so I’m offering it here now with the intention that it shall be.
