The Lord Is My Shepherd - A 21st Century Translation
31. January 2005

For those of you with ‘Lord’ and ‘God’ issues this version may be more accessible.
The Universe is my guide,
My needs are met.
I rest in the fullness of abundance,
confident in my every step.
With this certainty,
I am uplifted
knowing now the true path of my destiny.
For I am one with the All.
Even though I live a human life,
shadowed by death.
I fear not death.
For I feel safe with its presence.
Power and mystery now revealed.
Surely hope and compassion shall follow me
all the days of my life;
and I shall take my place within the great unknown
as it moves through me forever.
The Lord Is My Shepherd – Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd,
I shall not want;
He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters;
He restores my soul.
He leads me in paths of righteousness
for His name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley
of the shadow of death,
I fear no evil;
for You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
